Sparrow in the Community

Sparrow teamed up with The Good Fight Foundation and United Way in making a difference in our communities this holiday season.

These efforts included the 19th Annual Canned Food Drive, Zaxby’s Do Good Eat Good, and Painting for a Purpose. These fundraisers contributed to providing food to those in need and raising money for much needed medical expenses.

Spent the day collecting canned goods in Marshall County, Alabama with Marshall County Christian Services and United Way of Marshall County.

We have an opportunity for Kelsey to receive a new treatment called non-embryonic stem cell therapy. This treatment is proven to help with Alopecia. The Good Fight Foundation is allowing 9 local kids to receive the therapy in Birmingham - Kelsey will be one of the kids. The therapy is proven to help several diseases. We need the money by Christmas with the plan to receive the treatment the week after Christmas. The money would cover flying the doctor in, all equipment and two treatments for each kid. We have hope and I pray that you will consider donating and sharing. 

We appreciate any help with donations and fundraising ideas. There are several children in our area, with diseases and conditions that have not responded to traditional medicine, that need Stem Cell Therapy. This Stem Cell Therapy uses the patient's own stem cells obtained from their adipose tissue. There are many conditions that may respond to this procedure. Stem Cell Therapy is very expensive and not covered by insurance. Our desire is for these children, without the financial means to pay for the treatments, to have access to this procedure.

At this time, our goal is to raise $150,000 which will cover two complete treatments for each child. Any parent will do whatever they can to help their child but sometimes it is financially out of their reach.

Please help us give Kelsey the opportunity to have this life-changing treatment. We really need your help. You will never realize the difference this will make to be able to have this life-changing procedure. 
 

We also joined our friend Ashley in raising money at select Zaxby's locations. The community support was phenomenal and very much appreciated.
