If You Could Change a Child’s Life Would You? // Sparrow's Partnership

It is the season of giving and we live in the world of excess. Do we actually need more stuff? What if a donation could impact the life of another in a way never before thought possible? If you think “Oh, someone should do that,” perhaps that someone is YOU! If we all sit back and do nothing waiting for someone else to do something, what impact are we having on changing the world?

Currently, there are nine children that have not responded to “traditional medical treatments” and are awaiting potential life-changing non-embryonic stem cell therapies. These therapies are not covered by insurance and are out of the financial reach of the families. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to The Good Fight Foundation to make these treatments available.

Recently I had the privilege of meeting an amazing group with a heart of service to others that is rare to find. John and Leslye Pace formed The Good Fight Foundation to serve “the least of these.” They have a passion for addressing the needs of children from lack of basic needs to providing medical care for families that cannot afford life-changing stem cell treatments.

The impact this makes on families is huge. One potential recipient told me “The chance to do this would be the best gift ever. I am so excited!” Felicia Dewberry, a mother of a potential recipient, had this to say, “Please consider donating and pray for these children. Some things are out of our control but we can control how we help others and the impact we can have in our community. Please make a life-changing impact for a child this Christmas Season.”

Another appreciative mother, Becky Reaves, said “I would like to thank The Good Fight Foundation for making this opportunity possible for our children. They have given us hope that my daughter may one day be cured!”

Sally Wesley expressed it this way, “To know that this is out of my control and there is nothing I can do to help my child is difficult. Having an invisible, chronic illness is hard enough. Being doubted, judged, or dismissed is overwhelming and heartbreaking. It is frustrating that I cannot explain to people what it feels like.”
