Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid component in human nutrition. There is an established recommended intake for normal adult males at 2.2 g/day. Whole egg contains 5.4 % and skim milk 5.1% of this vital component. It has many derivatives; among them is cinnamic acid and L-dopa. Phenylalanine is also contained in grape juice at between 5-10 mg/100 ml or 3 ½ oz of juice.
One to ten drops three times daily under the tongue as directed by a health care practitioner.
